Due to circumstances beyond my control I must move my reading from the end of August to the beginning – that is Sunday 1 August at 2.00pm.
Dangerous Obsession by N J Crisp needs 2 men and 1 woman. It is a tense play not a comedy.
John is a quietly spoken but sinister man who has something of the door-to-door salesman about him. He is, if it is possible, more persistent than a salesman. He is middle-aged.
Sally is a housewife, inasmuch as she spends her life looking after the house and her husband. She enjoys a drink. Some might think she has it cushy. She is well off but she finds that she has to deal with a man who takes over her house and is not the pushover she first thought. She is in her 30s or early 40s.
Mark is confident, well off, well liked - a social animal who has it all. But during the evening in question he has to deal with someone who knows him too well. He is late 30s to 40s.
If you are over these suggested ages don't worry but Sally should be of child- bearing age.
Scripts are available from me - Anne - hope to see you Sunday 1 August for a reading.
