I'd be interested in taking a short play called The Long Road to the festival next year. I know nothing about what is involved, whether anyone would be interested to help me and whether anyone has done this before and can give me advice.

The Long Road is about a girl of 18 a boy/man of 20 his mum and dad and a woman. No set just chairs and table and lighting. Present day.

I'm potentially interested. Always had ambitions of doing the Festival! Don't
know how to go about it though.

There's an event in Edin on the 9 or 24 August to find out about taking a show to the Fringe which I could go to if I get enough support.

One down, a few more to go.

Thanks Ali. Yes I found the website which was fortunate as I was smitten by a trapped nerve and unable to get to Edinburgh. Are you interested to help out? Anyway I'll keep everyone informed about where i've got to.

Hilary, Brenda, Cliff and Ali and others who have mentioned they are interseted or others who may also be interested, I'll be at the theatre on Wednesday 15 Sept 7.00 to see where we go from there. If you know girl to play an 18 year old and a youth to play man of 20 please bring them along. This will be an opportunity to see if it is going to be feasible.
